$500 Reward – Illegal Dumping Reporting Incentive
1. Eligibility
1.1. The $500 reward is available to individuals aged 18 years or older who submit photographic evidence of suspected illegal dumping of rubbish within the boundaries of Woodsong or Unity Park.
1.2. Evidence must relate specifically to incidents occurring within those estates.
1.3. Employees, contractors and agents of Oliver Hume or the associated developers are ineligible to participate.
1.4. The incentive is intended for reporting incidents of illegal dumping involving a quantity of rubbish or material likely to attract enforcement action by the relevant authority. Reports of minor littering (such as small items, household rubbish, or a single discarded object) may not be eligible for a reward at Oliver Hume’s discretion.
2. Submission Requirements
2.1. Photographic evidence must:
- clearly show the act of dumping and the person(s) and/or vehicle involved;
- show the dumped material and location;
- include the date and time captured (device metadata preferred);
- be submitted within seven (7) days of the alleged incident.
2.2. Submissions must include the reporter’s full name, contact details and a brief written summary of the incident.
2.3. Submissions must be provided via email or other reporting channels designated by Oliver Hume.
2.4. Reporters are responsible for ensuring their submissions are accurate, complete and not misleading.
3. Reward Conditions
3.1. The $500 reward will only be issued where the submitted evidence materially assists authorities and results in a successful enforcement outcome.
3.2. A “successful enforcement outcome” means a formal penalty, fine or prosecution action imposed by a relevant local or state authority.
3.3. Only one reward is payable per incident, regardless of the number of reporters or submissions.
3.4. Where multiple individuals submit qualifying evidence for the same incident, the reward will be paid to the first valid submission received.
3.5. Oliver Hume’s determination of eligibility and reward allocation is final.
4. Timing of Payment
4.1. Payments will be made via bank transfer within 30 days of receiving written confirmation from the relevant authority that enforcement action has been finalised.
4.2. Oliver Hume is not responsible for delays arising from investigative, legal or administrative processes.
5. Privacy, Use and Handling of Evidence
5.1. By submitting evidence, the reporter grants Oliver Hume a perpetual, royalty-free, transferable licence to use, store and share the photographs and related information for the purpose of reporting, investigating or assisting enforcement bodies.
5.2. Every effort will be made to keep reports, identities and submitted information confidential unless disclosure is required by law or requested by the relevant authorities.
5.3. Photographs or personal information will not be published publicly without the reporter’s written consent, unless required by law.
5.4. Personal information will be handled in accordance with Oliver Hume’s Privacy Policy.
6. General Conditions
6.1. Oliver Hume may amend, suspend or terminate this incentive at any time without notice.
6.2. Submission of evidence does not guarantee payment of any reward.
6.3. Reporters must obtain evidence safely and lawfully and must not trespass, engage in confrontation or place themselves or others at risk.
6.4. Oliver Hume accepts no liability for any loss, injury or damage arising from participation.
6.5. These Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with any applicable disclaimers or program-specific guidance issued by Oliver Hume.
6.6. If any part of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder will continue in effect.
6.7. Oliver Hume may monitor feedback from participants and reserves the right to clarify, update or adjust these Terms if required to address uncertainties, complaints or compliance considerations.
