Meet Josh, HB Land’s Development Director – Victoria.

We sat down with Josh to ask him a few of your most frequently asked questions about Unity Park, Tarneit.

What is the vision and purpose of this development?

Josh: The vision for Unity Park is to be Tarneit’s new home ground. When creating this development, we established five main project pillars that were important to us and our future residents: Community, Nature, Sport, Affordability, and finally, Connectivity, with established and planned amenities. Its intention is to be a place where families come together to build the homes and the lives they’ve always aspired to have in a place that offers them the very best access to their surroundings.

Are there any unique features of the site?

Josh: There are plenty of things about Unity Park that make it unique for the 700 families it is set to home.

Being affordable for first-home buyers, Unity Park is an opportunity for families to achieve the goal of home ownership in an ideal location. We see Tarneit, in Melbourne’s outer west, as an established location that neighbours everything a family needs within walking distance, including the Riverdale Village shopping centre, health precincts, the local transport hubs, and the new Wyndham City Stadium.

Every home is located less than 400 metres from a sports field, park or kickabout area, so little ones (and older ones) have the space they need to thrive. The development is excited to welcome a future school in 2025 and an extensive playground nearing completion this October, so the next generation has everything they need to play, learn and grow close to home.

What are the community benefits or amenities included in the project?

Josh: Creating homes for a new community of 700 families will bring the Tarneit community a significant economic boost. With affordable housing, new businesses and new infrastructure, Tarneit has quickly become a popular hub for home buyers and investors alike.

Unity Park will welcome a VSBA state-funded school and free childcare inside the development by 2025, as well as an array of active, open spaces and picturesque waterways tracks so families within the community can embrace their health and wellbeing. The community will be well connected to the CBD, with high-velocity share path networks connecting key train stations for efficient and convenient travel to work, education or social gatherings.
